Lecture Capture via Facebook Live
This started in 2017, to provide students material while in hospital for routine keyhole surgery. Using iPhones, iPads or Samsung phones, lectures were live streamed and recorded from the lectern, using a tripod, LED panel and microphone, as an inexpensive way of providing students material to work through again after the class.
Using Facebook Live uncaps the capacity restriction of some phones, although limited at the time to 720P capture. These videos have been flipped and reorientated as needed; with the intention that they could be edited in with PowerPoint and other material for an online and blended version of the modules.
